This weekend kicks off the 32nd Richmond County Fair on Staten Island. The fair runs from September 3-5 this year from 11am – 6pm daily. You can get to Staten Island for free if you take the ferry from Manhattan. You can also get to Staten Island via the Verranzano-Narrows Bridge if you are coming from the BQE, and via the Outerbridge, Goethals Bridge, or the Bayonne Bridge if you are coming from New Jersey. If you take the ferry there are buses available at the terminal to take you within walking distance of the fair. For those that are driving parking is available at the Staten Island Mall and a free shuttle is available.
