First Ever Kids Food Fest in Bryant Park

This event has been put together to help fight against childhood obesity, and help kids learn about the importance of achieving balance in their food choices. Kids will be able to participate in fun activites and sample kid-friendly foods, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Share Our Strength – a national nonprofit  whose mission is ending childhood hunger in America.

When: January 21-22, 2012 – 10am to 6pm

Where: Bryant Park

Cost: General admission is free, but tickets are required for all events in James Beard Foundation Future Foodies Pavilion and the KFF Performance Stage. Click here for more information. Classes include Guacamole Tacos, Fun with Crepes, Mango Stuffed Challah French Toast, Table Time with Mister Manners, and more!

This event not only focuses on educating kids on how to make better choices, but on educating families so that together they can make better choices and have fun in the kitchen. Enjoy scavengers hunts, food demos, and more!
