This was so good I had to blog about it! Several of my friends kept telling me about Taim and how amazing their falafels are, but I never had time to check it out until last week. I was warned that there would be a line and that it’s rather small inside, but to be patient and wait for the best falafel I’d ever have.
Well, luckily when we arrived the line wasn’t terribly long and a couple was leaving so we were able to snag seats so that we could dine in. The menu had lots of yummy items to choose from, but I ended up picking the Mixed Falafel Platter so that I could try a little bit of everything and a cantaloupe/ginger smoothie, and my BF picked the Falafel sandwich and a strawberry/banana smoothie.

Mixed Falafel Platter: a sampling of 3 falafel flavors on a plate with hummus, israeli and tabouli salads, and assortment of sauces

Falafel Sandwich: with the original Falafel, with hummus, israeli salad, pickled cabbage and tahini sauce
Everything was soooo yummy and the cantaloupe/ginger smoothie was so refreshing. I can’t wait to go back for more! Taim is now one of my favorite places grab a bite to eat in the city, and it gets better….according to their website they are opening another location in May on the corner of Spring and Mulberry Streets.
They currently have a location at 222 Waverly Place and are open 7 days a week. Check out their website for times and additional info.
Taim (pronounced Tah – eem) is Hebrew for tasty and delicious.
Enjoy!
Love AGT :)
