Tonight from 5:30pm – 8:30pm the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) will be having its first MoMA Night of 2012!
From September to June the museum stays open late on the first Thursday of every month. There are gallery talks, a DJ, a cash bar to sip cocktails while u check out the latest exhibits, and a prix fixe dinner available in the cafe.
Tonight’s DJs are Luc Frelon and Vincent Provini, also known as the musical programmers for France’s beloved FIP radio station. “FIP, which is a music-only station, has been known for daring and eclectic programming for the past 40 years. Classical tracks segue into dance music, chansons, hip-hop, salsa, or pretty much anything of musical interest. Luc and Vincent are also DJs who play around the world, keeping in mind the eclecticism of FIP while tailoring their live sets to the environment, from festivals and dance parties to museums and performance spaces.” – MoMA
The cash bar will be open from 5:30pm to 8pm, Dinner will be served from 5pm to 7pm, and gallery talks will be held from 6pm to 7:30pm. Regular admission applies for this event.
