Linganore Winery Caribbean Wine Festival

I’m always up for a roadtrip, no matter the distance, so when we heard about a Caribbean Wine Festival happening in Mt. Airy, Maryland (just outside of Baltimore) we packed up the car full of picnic goodies and got on the road. Food, wine , friends, and a live Caribbean band had everyone dancing and laughing from 10am – 6pm

City Scenes

Madison Square Eats ran the month of May, so I took some friends, that were in town for a one stop shop of Food Trucks and had a delicious Maine Style Lobster Roll and Maine Organic Rootbeer. Then, I bounced around the city testing out the new Citibank Bike Program, got a free bare minerals make over in Madison Square Park (Have you tried their products before? I’ve fallen in love), and explored DUMBO and Park Slope.

Lunch time fun at Slate

A fun place to grab lunch or hangout on Friday and Saturday nights. They’ve got pool tables, ping pong tables, foosball tables, and large flat screen tv’s galore! I found them through a deal on Gilt City and tried out their veggie burger with fries and a Stella. If you’re in the city check out their lunch special – Mondat thru Friday from Noon – 3pm purchase an hour of pool for $8 and get a free lunch! That’s right FREE. When they told me about it I couldn’t believe myself. Free? In Manhattan? – Yep! Check it out for yourself!
