Travel Fashion Guide: Jet-setting to Oregon

Hey travelers and fashionistas!

How does everyone feel after their weekly workout? Stronger and sexier by the minute, I’m sure….

Well, this week, AGT is travelling to Oregon to visit friends, run a half marathon, explore, and spend some time in wine country… and of course I had to help her pick out some key, fashion forward, outfits for her journey.

Two BIG things AGT needs for her trip:  1) a casual, but still fashion forward outfit, to travel around, during the day, and still be comfortable  2) a wine country outfit for those amazing wine tastings she is going to attend.

Nothing screams comfort and fashionable like my old faithful, a colored (yellow) Converse Chuck Taylor J she’s going to be able to walk all over and still look so cute in a pop of color shoe. The new Rag & Bone distressed cropped boyfriend jeans are a perfect, slouchy, relaxed denim…able to move, and yet still be in style. Next, let’s pair the jeans with the affordable, west coast inspired, California Tee from Topshop. Finally, adding a straw fedora and a cute pair of vintage sunglasses are the perfect combination of comfort, accessories, and fashion for a day of touring down the Oregon Trail J

Nothing is more elegant, sexy, or fashion forward then a little white dress at a wine party.  Alice & Olivia’s “Florence” dress is a boho, chic, white peasant dress that is the perfect base piece for a wine tasting… just don’t spill J To stick with my love for spikes, and an edgier piece in every outfit, Juicy Couture’s “Spike Drama Necklace” adds the pop of gold and silver colors to the white dress. It will fall perfectly above the neckline of the dress and be a great way to pull the whole outfit together. A gold Nine West strappy heel will definitely bring out the gold in the necklace and add to the pops of color throughout the outfit. Pairing the outfit with a matching gold Michael Kors clutch is the perfect finish to a divine, wine tasting outfit.

Travel Fashion Guide: Destination Half Marathon Prep

hey travelers and fashionistas :)

As trends evolve in culture, fashion is never far behind…The workout, healthy fad has been quickly spreading the nation. people are starting to eat healthier, work out more, try new things to keep themselves healthy, green, and clean. In the spirit of looking fabulous, we must find the most incredible looks for all work out situations.

Victoria’s Secret No-Show Hiphugger Sport panty is a perfect, soft fabric with flexible spandex to give you the comfort you need to work out in style. A great sports bra is essential when working out. Modern workout makes a great support sports bra, with a no sweat fabric to ensure comfort while working out. The perfect pair of pants to work out in is so crucial. A great pair of cropped yoga pants are perfect. Tight fitted to ensure no loose fabric getting in the way, but still flexible enough to be able to move. Add a slight leopard patterned trim to the top for a touch of fashion. Nike running shoes will give great support and comfort while running, playing a sport, or anything else to get that amazing body you’ve always wanted.

Travel Fashion Guide: Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

When you travel a great way to experience the city is to check out a local sports game and it’s such a great time of year for a baseball game! The weather is amazing, the teams are always looking great, and we will get to wear some fun fashion…This season some of the top couture designers came out with ‘baseball inspired’ pieces to really get into the sport and the season.

Tory Burch’s skinny awning pants inspire a couture baseball themed look. Check out D Squared double wool baseball cap, one of the greatest pieces in the collection. J. Crew mocked a baseball tee with contrasting sleeve colors. Givenchy and IRO Paul created similar baseball jackets (one leather formal, one casual) with contrasting sleeve colors. To finish up an overall baseball theme look, Ash developed a high top, cleat inspired sneaker with buckles and chic leather.

Whether you’re cheering on the Cubs, Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers, or the Braves, make sure at the baseball game you’re sporting your teams colors and merchandise to support your boys. Throwing on a pair of designer, distressed denim shorts and pairing it with my favorite shoe, a Chuck Taylor adds some fashion, as well as, a comfy appeal to your look.

Just remember … take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowd, buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks, I don’t care if I never get back.
