Well we didn’t skate. My friend and I drove all the way to the city excite to ice skate at the rink in Rockefeller Center which I could sworn was set to open Columbus Day weekend only to find that it is not open :( The opening date has been set for tomorrow, October 19th according to the recording when you call their business line.
We still had a fabulous time shopping and made a trip to Jersey to get somethings from Ikea.
Lessons learned:
1. Always print out a parking coupon because parking garage prices in NY are outrageous
2. Just take the subway. It’s less of a hassle.
3. Call before going to be sure the rink is open.
