The Five Borough Bike Tour is one of the largest recreational cycling events in the country. Held the first Sunday in May, I was able to participate my first year here and I’m hoping to do it again this year. You have the opportunity to bike 42 miles through all five boroughs with thousands of people, and there are rest stops along the way. The ride ends on Fort Wadsworth in Staten Island with a food, music, and vendors.
Due to the popularity of the event they have shifted to a lottery system. Starting today enter the lottery with a non refundable payment of $6. The lottery will be open until February 7th. If you are chosen as a participant you will be notified by March 1st, and you will have one week to complete your registration.
